We got mail.
The "they paid -- you write" required camper card arrived yesterday, the day after our 14-year-old set off for 8 days on trail. The note was short and sweet and to the point.
Headline news. Film when camp is over.
But we called anyway. We needed details, and fast.
Like ... why our son packed for a 7 day canoe trip along shaded creeks and random lakes, but was on an 8 day sea kayak adventure on Lake Superior, exploring the Apolstle Islands.
And why that news traveled by ... postcard?
